Shanks pony is the only way to see everything in the Gorge. Vehicles must be left at the Ranger's station or at the occasional carparks along the road into the park. Strong shoes, hat, sunscreen and plenty of water are all major necessities for a successful visit to Carnarvon Gorge.As far as fees go it is currently $5 per person per night 6/1/10
